Who is invited?
The advisor and his/her/their spouse/partner, (“spouse”) who have received an invitation from a member of the wholesaling team at Empire Life. One (1) hotel room per one (1) invitation has been allocated for this conference.
Attendance
The Education Summit is an optional event; attendance is not mandatory if you receive an invitation. If you do choose to attend and accept the invitation, you must be prepared to:
- Agree to accept and pay for accommodations at The Scott Resort & Spa for you and your spouse/partner
- Agree to pay for all airfare costs for you and your spouse/partner to the destination (Scottsdale) and transportation costs to and from the hotel; and
- Attend all Education Summit events including business sessions from Monday, May 5th (check in) to Thursday, May 8th (check out).
The Education Summit invitation must be accepted as given. There are no substitutions, exchanges for cash, credit or transfers available if you, or your spouse/partner is, unable to or chooses not to:
- attend the Education Summit;
- use accommodations arranged by Empire Life.
Will the conference be recorded or have a hybrid component?
This conference is 100 per cent live and in-person. We are not offering a virtual event option for this conference nor are we recording or streaming any of the sessions.
Is there a cost to attend?
You are responsible for transportation costs (including airfare, transportation from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to and from The Scott Resort & Spa) and accommodations at The Scott Resort & Spa. You will also be responsible for transportation costs to and from your local airport.
Empire Life will cover all scheduled meals and entertainment within the Education Summit dates and agenda (May 5th arrival to May 8th check out, 2025).
Please be aware that your spouse’s/guest’s attendance at this event will result in a taxable benefit. This benefit will be calculated by Empire Life and reported on a T4A/Relevé-1 tax slip, issued to you (the advisor). The amount will be determined using current CRA regulations and final costs of the summit. A friendly reminder that your guest is invited to all meals and welcome to attend the business sessions.

Before you start
Everyone that registers will be required to submit the following information to complete their registration successfully. This includes:
- First and last name for name badge
- Job Title
- Company
- Contact information
- Dietary requirements
- Accessibility needs
- Emergency contact information
- Please note that if you are bringing a spouse/partner you will need to provide the name, contact and dietary information for your guest.
How do I know I have successfully registered for the Education Summit?
Your registration is deemed complete upon receipt of an email confirming that your registration information has been accepted. Please look for an email from: empirelife@sandbox-events.com confirming your registration.

How and when do I book my hotel room?
You must book your hotel room DIRECTLY with The Scott Resort & Spa BY APRIL 3rd, 2025. Hotel booking information is provided at the end of the registration form.
How are my flights booked?
- You are responsible for booking and paying for your own flights to Arizona. Please note that any travel to/from the airport will be at the advisor’s expense.
- Once you have booked your flights, please send your itinerary to empirelife@sandbox-events.com
Can I extend my stay?
You are welcome to extend your stay pre-program and post-program at The Scott Resort & Spa at your own expense. Due to the high demand and volume of business surrounding (and during) the Education Summit, pre/post extension requests are available first-come-first-served and at the Hotel’s reasonable discretion. Additional pre/post stay extensions (and ability to extend the group rate) will strictly be at the Hotel’s reasonable discretion at the time of request. Please note that regardless of rooms selling to the general public on any given date that the hotel may not be able to honor all requests. Alternative rates and options will be quoted and provided in good faith whenever possible.
Can I stay at a different hotel?
No. For convenience and ease of program logistics, program attendees are required to stay at The Scott Resort & Spa for the program dates (check in May 5th, check out May 8th, 2025). Please see the Hotel tab for more details.
Will I earn CE credits?
If you participate in business sessions you may be eligible for continuing education credits.
